What a great idea…dedicate a week to recognize the contribution of nurses across the country and around the world. Yes indeed, a terrific idea. But hopefully, this wouldn’t be the only time we recognize the impact of our profession on the world. So to be brief and to the point, I love the fact that we have a “week” just for Nurses, but I am more excited that there are at least 365 days every year where we have a chance to make a difference. Don’t wait for Nurses Week to be proud of all you do, but don’t pass up the opportunity to stand just a little taller around Flo’s Birthday!
